Chemistry Cafe Bangi

Salam & Hi!

Just to share with you the eatery I went to over lunch, Chemistry Cafe Bangi (they have other branches too e.g in Shah Alam). Its a pretty cool place to hangout with friends. But the were very few customers around when I was there over lunch. Kind of surprising coz it was LUNCH HOUR..

The decor of the place is interesting..Very "Chemistry"..Reminded me of the Chemistry Lab back then in PASUM...haha..Very rustic too..

What would "Chemistry" be without glass beakers, colourful "chemicals", lab coats and etc..hehe...For those who are into indie singers/bands, then this is the place for you to hangout coz they do have live shows by local indie performers (but only at designated times...if my memory serves me right, performances are usually at night)..Perhaps the crowd is bigger at night as compared to lunch hours.

Ok you would not be calling this place a cafe if no food or beverages are available right?!..Coming back to the MENU offered, they have quite a number of options for customers to choose....But sadly, most of the items in the menu are not available (Not too sure whether this has been going on for quite sometime or is just me being unlucky..hehe)

Price?hmm...My honest opinion, it's rather on the pricey side...You may ask what is the most ordered menu here? The waitress suggested their grilled salmon..But I did not order the salmon coz I had salmon the day before..hehe..so I ordered the 2nd most ordered food here which is their grilled chicken & ice blended green tea.

Service is rather slow for the amount of customers in the cafe...So approx. after 10 mins, the green tea was served.
My comments :
1. Ice blended green tea :
    - Not bad at all..Please try :)
The Ice-Blended Green Tea for RM13.50

The Grilled Chicken also arrived at approx.10 mins later too (10 mins after the Green Tea..hehe)..I know it's not nice to complain about how a food taste, mind you this is just a personal opinion coz how good or bad a food may taste differs from one person to another...Did not comment while the food was in front of me..this is an "after-tasting the food" comment...No intention of condemning the cook! :)
Well for the sort of "long-wait", it was rather disappointing.
My comments :
1. Sauce : Saltish
2. Mash potatoes :
    - Dried,
    - Super small portion of mash potatoes (this is by far the smallest portion of mash I've
      been served with)
    - Tastes pretty much like those instant mash sold at the store where you just add water
to the dehydrated potatoes and tadaaaa, your mash is ready!hehe
3. Chicken :
    - Dried too..wish it was moist..huhu
    - Don't think it was made fresh..possibly reheated and topped with the saltish sauce.

4. Vegetables :
    - The only item on the plate which I enjoyed eating!..hehe

Grilled Chicken for RM14.50

Out of 10, I'd rate 4.5/10 for the food I ordered today...It's alright, there's always room
for improvement!

Till then,
toddles! :)

4 Fingers Sinfully Good!

Assalamualaikum & hi again...

Kemaruk nak berblog semula..hahaha
Well, just to share with anda-anda semua is this highly recommended (by Mr Hubby that is..hehe) Korean fast food outlet --> 4 Fingers@ Midvalley

Mr Hubs decided to take the family out for a lunch and movie treat ( Yeay, hubby has no class today!)..He was telling me about this place where they sell really good chicken wings..Didn't put high expectations but yeah why not...why not give it a try!

When I first stepped in @4Fingers, hmm pretty much a humble fast food eatery..not so K-Poppish, but yeah a decent place..hehe..it has its own uniqueness in terms of its decor...the interesting part is they use a pager system. So whenever you place an order at the counter, they would provide you with a pager. So when your food is ready, the pager beeps and you can collect your food at the collection counter and yes Bismillah & bon appetite! They also have this small tins which acts as the bin for the bones. So bye-bye messy bones in your pan (thats because they serve the food in some sort of a campers cooking "pan"..haha)...One more thing, everything in the menu is about chicken, tofu, kimchi, seaweed, chips, rice...no meat, no fish and most importantly NO MSG! :). Kinda pricey for a fast food but to eat em' once in a while its soooooo soooooo worth it!

But wait till you get your teeth crunch through the sinfully good chicken wings topped with their Korean hot sauce. I tell you, it kept me bragging to Mr Hubs how GOOOOOODDDDD it tasted and it will definitely be a place where I would want to spend my "cheat day" (Diet la sgt right :p)

Out of 10, I would rate it 9.5/10 ( tak boleh la rate 10/10 coz no such thing as perfection..haha)...Highly recommended, sila pi cuba pasti sukaaaaa! Till then, toodles!

Gambar ihsan internet...psl ceq segan nak ambil gambar di khalayak umat manusia Midvalley yg ramai..haha

Ok, its kinda pricey for a fast food chain, but its worth it! Plus its not your daily staple pun..so why not..hehe

The chicken burger is as AWESOMEly good!yummehhhh

The ohhhh so good chicken wings! MUST TRY!!

Assalamualaikum :)

Assalamualaikum & hi there fellow readers (hehe..if there's any ;p)

YES my blog is all dusty...It's time for a comeback I suppose...The last post before the long rest from blogging was back then in April 2012 when I first introduced Humayraa...hehe...
Well Humayraa just turned 4 last week and yes there has been a new addition to the family within my 4 years of absence..hehe...Hannah Imani is the name given to Humayraa's little sister...

My hope is that my 2 girls will always be close with each other & grow up to be a mukmin & solehah..Well Hannah will be 2 insyaAllah on the 1st of September 2016...Yes I know, it shows how long I've last blogged..hehe

Well now I'm at the stage of seeing my 2 girls argue & fight over toys, chasing each other, crying when one pulls the other person's hair or take a toy away. And yes this is the stage where your patience will be tested..hehe...Im no perfect human being,I too lose my patience sometimes...
But kids nowadays are pretty smart. I suppose its true that we can no longer punish our children without explaining to them why  they are being punished in the first place..huhu..Now that Humayraa goes to pre-school, she has learnt to rationalize things...In the school where Humayraa and Hannah goes to, they would punish a child who has "commited" a mistake by asking them to face the wall..hehe..tried "implementing" the same method at home but it doesn't seem to work..huhu

There was this one time when Humayraa was with her Tok Ba (my dearest abah that is..hehe), she sort of "lodged" a cucu report to her Tok Ba about me scolding her. She said she did not like her mama because her mama  likes to scold her (Yes, that's me she was talking about :p)...And she asked her Tok Ba to tell me to stop scolding her....Adoiiilaa...I didn't know how to react..Should I laugh or just startled at what my daughter thinks of me..I can imagine her visualizing me as the "mean" mom..hehe...

Oh dear, how Humayraa has grown up...I can literally argue with her for hours..hehe...
After the "report" that Humayraa lodged to her Tok Ba, I have changed my strategy of punishing her...Although the effect is not instantaneously, I do hope that Humayraa will learn to understand why the do's and dont's..

Hannah on the other hand is a very sweet little girl..She has a very soft character...But don't be deceived by her small size...She is Mrs Don't Mess Around With Me when it comes to playing with her toys or her sister's toys for that matter..hehehe..Even Humayraa can lose to her...hehe....
Although she is not as talkative (Still in the process of building up her vocabularies, insyaAllah), she does understand what people around her are talking about..

Each and everyone of them have their own strength and weaknesses. The moral of the story is, never compare the abilities of each and every child. They are all special in their on ways. For that matter, I'm truly thankful to Allah for what I have, Alhamdulillah..May Allah bless my family and YOUR family too, aminnn :)

Toodles!
