Chemistry Cafe Bangi

Salam & Hi!

Just to share with you the eatery I went to over lunch, Chemistry Cafe Bangi (they have other branches too e.g in Shah Alam). Its a pretty cool place to hangout with friends. But the were very few customers around when I was there over lunch. Kind of surprising coz it was LUNCH HOUR..

The decor of the place is interesting..Very "Chemistry"..Reminded me of the Chemistry Lab back then in PASUM...haha..Very rustic too..

What would "Chemistry" be without glass beakers, colourful "chemicals", lab coats and etc..hehe...For those who are into indie singers/bands, then this is the place for you to hangout coz they do have live shows by local indie performers (but only at designated times...if my memory serves me right, performances are usually at night)..Perhaps the crowd is bigger at night as compared to lunch hours.

Ok you would not be calling this place a cafe if no food or beverages are available right?!..Coming back to the MENU offered, they have quite a number of options for customers to choose....But sadly, most of the items in the menu are not available (Not too sure whether this has been going on for quite sometime or is just me being unlucky..hehe)

Price?hmm...My honest opinion, it's rather on the pricey side...You may ask what is the most ordered menu here? The waitress suggested their grilled salmon..But I did not order the salmon coz I had salmon the day before..hehe..so I ordered the 2nd most ordered food here which is their grilled chicken & ice blended green tea.

Service is rather slow for the amount of customers in the cafe...So approx. after 10 mins, the green tea was served.
My comments :
1. Ice blended green tea :
    - Not bad at all..Please try :)
The Ice-Blended Green Tea for RM13.50

The Grilled Chicken also arrived at approx.10 mins later too (10 mins after the Green Tea..hehe)..I know it's not nice to complain about how a food taste, mind you this is just a personal opinion coz how good or bad a food may taste differs from one person to another...Did not comment while the food was in front of me..this is an "after-tasting the food" comment...No intention of condemning the cook! :)
Well for the sort of "long-wait", it was rather disappointing.
My comments :
1. Sauce : Saltish
2. Mash potatoes :
    - Dried,
    - Super small portion of mash potatoes (this is by far the smallest portion of mash I've
      been served with)
    - Tastes pretty much like those instant mash sold at the store where you just add water
to the dehydrated potatoes and tadaaaa, your mash is ready!hehe
3. Chicken :
    - Dried too..wish it was moist..huhu
    - Don't think it was made fresh..possibly reheated and topped with the saltish sauce.

4. Vegetables :
    - The only item on the plate which I enjoyed eating!..hehe

Grilled Chicken for RM14.50

Out of 10, I'd rate 4.5/10 for the food I ordered today...It's alright, there's always room
for improvement!

Till then,
toddles! :)

4 Fingers Sinfully Good!

Assalamualaikum & hi again...

Kemaruk nak berblog semula..hahaha
Well, just to share with anda-anda semua is this highly recommended (by Mr Hubby that is..hehe) Korean fast food outlet --> 4 Fingers@ Midvalley

Mr Hubs decided to take the family out for a lunch and movie treat ( Yeay, hubby has no class today!)..He was telling me about this place where they sell really good chicken wings..Didn't put high expectations but yeah why not...why not give it a try!

When I first stepped in @4Fingers, hmm pretty much a humble fast food eatery..not so K-Poppish, but yeah a decent place..hehe..it has its own uniqueness in terms of its decor...the interesting part is they use a pager system. So whenever you place an order at the counter, they would provide you with a pager. So when your food is ready, the pager beeps and you can collect your food at the collection counter and yes Bismillah & bon appetite! They also have this small tins which acts as the bin for the bones. So bye-bye messy bones in your pan (thats because they serve the food in some sort of a campers cooking "pan"..haha)...One more thing, everything in the menu is about chicken, tofu, kimchi, seaweed, chips, rice...no meat, no fish and most importantly NO MSG! :). Kinda pricey for a fast food but to eat em' once in a while its soooooo soooooo worth it!

But wait till you get your teeth crunch through the sinfully good chicken wings topped with their Korean hot sauce. I tell you, it kept me bragging to Mr Hubs how GOOOOOODDDDD it tasted and it will definitely be a place where I would want to spend my "cheat day" (Diet la sgt right :p)

Out of 10, I would rate it 9.5/10 ( tak boleh la rate 10/10 coz no such thing as perfection..haha)...Highly recommended, sila pi cuba pasti sukaaaaa! Till then, toodles!

Gambar ihsan internet...psl ceq segan nak ambil gambar di khalayak umat manusia Midvalley yg ramai..haha

Ok, its kinda pricey for a fast food chain, but its worth it! Plus its not your daily staple pun..so why not..hehe

The chicken burger is as AWESOMEly good!yummehhhh

The ohhhh so good chicken wings! MUST TRY!!

Assalamualaikum :)

Assalamualaikum & hi there fellow readers (hehe..if there's any ;p)

YES my blog is all dusty...It's time for a comeback I suppose...The last post before the long rest from blogging was back then in April 2012 when I first introduced Humayraa...hehe...
Well Humayraa just turned 4 last week and yes there has been a new addition to the family within my 4 years of absence..hehe...Hannah Imani is the name given to Humayraa's little sister...

My hope is that my 2 girls will always be close with each other & grow up to be a mukmin & solehah..Well Hannah will be 2 insyaAllah on the 1st of September 2016...Yes I know, it shows how long I've last blogged..hehe

Well now I'm at the stage of seeing my 2 girls argue & fight over toys, chasing each other, crying when one pulls the other person's hair or take a toy away. And yes this is the stage where your patience will be tested..hehe...Im no perfect human being,I too lose my patience sometimes...
But kids nowadays are pretty smart. I suppose its true that we can no longer punish our children without explaining to them why  they are being punished in the first place..huhu..Now that Humayraa goes to pre-school, she has learnt to rationalize things...In the school where Humayraa and Hannah goes to, they would punish a child who has "commited" a mistake by asking them to face the wall..hehe..tried "implementing" the same method at home but it doesn't seem to work..huhu

There was this one time when Humayraa was with her Tok Ba (my dearest abah that is..hehe), she sort of "lodged" a cucu report to her Tok Ba about me scolding her. She said she did not like her mama because her mama  likes to scold her (Yes, that's me she was talking about :p)...And she asked her Tok Ba to tell me to stop scolding her....Adoiiilaa...I didn't know how to react..Should I laugh or just startled at what my daughter thinks of me..I can imagine her visualizing me as the "mean" mom..hehe...

Oh dear, how Humayraa has grown up...I can literally argue with her for hours..hehe...
After the "report" that Humayraa lodged to her Tok Ba, I have changed my strategy of punishing her...Although the effect is not instantaneously, I do hope that Humayraa will learn to understand why the do's and dont's..

Hannah on the other hand is a very sweet little girl..She has a very soft character...But don't be deceived by her small size...She is Mrs Don't Mess Around With Me when it comes to playing with her toys or her sister's toys for that matter..hehehe..Even Humayraa can lose to her...hehe....
Although she is not as talkative (Still in the process of building up her vocabularies, insyaAllah), she does understand what people around her are talking about..

Each and everyone of them have their own strength and weaknesses. The moral of the story is, never compare the abilities of each and every child. They are all special in their on ways. For that matter, I'm truly thankful to Allah for what I have, Alhamdulillah..May Allah bless my family and YOUR family too, aminnn :)

Toodles!

Introducing Humayraa Imani

Salam... Woah dah lama tak bloggie mcm biasa la the typical excuse SIBUK...haha...memang sibuk pun...huhu...have been all occupied with my little missy Humayraa Imani ;)...For the very first time I would like to introduce the new member of my familia, Humayraa Imani bt.Usaid :)...Humayraa will be turning 2 months old pretty soon..huhu..cpt betul anak mama sorang ni membesar..huhu...Jom kenal Humayraa jap..hehe...

23 February 2012
My last antenatal check-up before delivery..huhu...As usual the Dr scan and checked whether my os is open or not (nak tengok whether jalan beranak dah bukak ke belum..huhu)...Dr says it was already 1cm open and that I could go into labour like anytime soon...yaiks...nerbes + cuak + gembira bila dengar Dr cakap mcm tu...Dr gave me a date for admission on the 29th of Feb which was my EDD sebab I do not have any signs of labour..Dr tu tahu my concern yg kalau boleh tak mahu bersalin on my EDD which occurs every 4 years..huhu...Lepas tu I went back home with mama and immediately called Hubs mintak dia balik ASAP..HUHU..

24-26 February 2012
Dah mula turun darah tapi no contraction pain...told mama + usaid + abah....mama and abah chill aje tapi Usaid super concerned and worried...I told my hubs not to worry sgt sbb I dont have contraction pain + waterbag tak pecah lagi..Rilex je lepas check up hari tu..Siap boleh pergi shopping and jalan2 with hubs (tak sedar diri tu dah boyot and tunggu masa je..hehe)..Well I hold that little theory saying that the more an expecting mother walks, the easier ( insyaAllah) the delivery will be...I ate whatever I felt like eating..hehe...It was a memorable moment with hubs...

27 February 2012
Started to have on and off contraction pain + show..I told mr hubs and abah that I think I'll be going into labour that day...today's THE DAY!...dalam dok sakit tu boleh pulak teringin nak makan ketam masak cili...haha...terus abah mintak kak rina tolong masakkan before pergi hosp...I went up to bathe and got myself ready to go to the hosp...thank God beg semua dah ready...lepas tu turun bawah makan ketam masak cili with mr hubs ;) ....nikmatnya lah makan masa tu..before pergi abah suruh minum air selusuh ( bukan air selusuh yg pelik2 tau..ni air yg dibacakan dgn ayat suci al- quran..air selusuh ni dibuat utk mudahkan bersalin dgn izin Allah) At about 11 am, abah drove me and hubs to the hosp..the pain was getting more intense...at about 11.10 am, we arrived at the ED...the guy at the counter asked us to register for admission..so they told me to go to the labour room...they offered to wheel me up but me being me,I refused because of that little theory about walking...hehe...lagipun I can still bear the pain so apalah salahnya jalan sendiri kan..hehe..as i arrived, they examined me and said that I was already in labour...so they sent me to the labour room at about 11.30am...Usaid was all worried..hehe...the pain was getting more and more intense rasa macam nak guling2 kat katil sbb sakit sgt2...this by far the most intolerable pain....now I totally understand why people say "SYURGA ITU DI BAWAH TELAPAK KAKI IBU"...sakitnya yg amat sgt hanya Allah sahaja yang tahu...I refused epidural because I really wanted to experience labour pain...tapi after about 4 and half hours I could not bear the pain..So I requested for pethidine...well it did not help as much with pain but I felt slightly calmer..tiba2 the nurse told me that my os opening was already 8cm.im only 2cm away..huhu..the nurse started to sweep and strecth to facilitate the labour process...at that time memang dah tak tahan and rasa nak buang air besar sangat2....that was THE TIME...usaid was with me all along...he was the one who hold my hand and leaned me forward when i was in labour..i was too drowsy to push myself forward...sian hubby sebab terpaksa tahan my tangan yg genggam erat tgn dia due to the pain...Alha,dulillah tepat jam 4.32 pm Humayraa Imani bt.Usaid telah selamar dilahirkandgn berat 3.26kg...ALHAMDULILLAH...Thank you Allah for thisprecious gift ;)...

Well itulah serba sedikit about little Humayraa...nnt I will continue further about the journey of motherhood..hehe...till then toodles!! :)

A Come Back!

Assalamualaikum...
It has been almost, really mean ALMOST a year since the last post...huhu...well lotsa things has been going in in my life....lotsa happy, sad, bitter, sweet and sour things going on...well that's life...a bit of everything to make life interesting i suppose :)

Well lets begin with syukur alhamdulillah for the rezeki He has given to me n my hubs n practically my entire family :) "Little one" will be making way pretty soon...hope everything goes well and may our little bundle of joy will bring happiness and barakah in my marriage ~amin ;)

Im already 39 weeks now, just waiting for the "moment of truth" to come...I must say it has been a wonderful experience carrying another soul for the past 9 months...Though I had to go through all the ups and downs being a houseman and at the same time carrying this little one wherever I go, I have to say that I have no regrets...Regardless of what other people say and think, it's definitely a blessing from Allah to be given a chance that not all women would get that is to be given a chance to become insyaAllah a mother. I have to admit, there were times when I was grumpy, groggy and etc, but despite all that, it was a priceless experience...I was never alone during oncalls coz there was my little one accompanying me wherever I go :)
YES it was tiring...and YES my legs were all swollen, aching back, extra sensitive...well you don't have to be preggy to have all of that do you?hehe....

I wish I could share every single moment I went through for the past 9 months but it'll take me forever to put those precious moments into words...what I can conclude is being preggy during your housemanship may be seen as some sort of an "obstacle" by most (esp by my specialists) but don't despair coz when I see other women who comes to the clinic all eager to bare a child of their own, I look at myself and thankAllah for this gift...As my dear friend always say "Allah kan ada"...So wutever my superiors or other people think about me does not matter anymore..I believe that this child is the bestest gift from Allah...Thank you Allah

Don't wanna brag too much, just sharing a 'little' bit of  what's going on in my life...hehe...planning to blog more often while I still can..haha....till then, toodles!

Usaid@Adventist

Poor Usaid...I did not expect his complaints all this while turned out to be quite severe...
He was diagnosed to have a bad sinus problem during our short balk kampung trip last Saturday....
Luckily abah manage to persuade him to go to the hospital for further check up..
We immediately went to The hospital, arrived at about 10.30pm...
We requested for an ENT specialist as he as been complaining of shortness of breath and that he has been breathing through his mouth (poor Usaid)...
At this very hour while this entry is being done, my dearest hubs is still at the OT...I hope everything goes well for him....aminnn
I do pray that he will breath better than before....get well soon my dear Usaid!

Will be patiently waiting for my hubs...want him to regain his consciousness with me by his side....

Time for updates!

Salam..
Its been more than a month since I last wrote..huhu...'What have I been up to?', you may ask..hehe..Well, I've been making myself 'BeZZZz' being a 'housewife'...Its fun though its the same old routine day in day out...my day starts at approximately 6.30am. So my routine is as follow :

6.00-6.30am : Subuh prayers + Preparing breakfast
7.30 am :  Off to KL to send hubs to work (Though nowadays we leave home at 8.00am....cuti skola ma,
                 jln kurang jam ;p)

So by 8.30 or 9am I'm super free. So my day just pass by in split seconds doing nothing (Sometimes la..haha) Most of the time basuh baju, cook and etc...enough of the wifey2 stuffs...wouldn't wanna bore you with my daily schedules...huhu

Well within the past 1 month or so, I've been really busy with my wedding receptions in Penang and Johor...Will be updating on those soon [maybe tomorrow ;p]. Till then toodles

p/s : dear hubs, thanx for the ice-cweam night out!luv ya <3
